Registration 2016

Thank You to all players who have registered either on line or in person. Due to the high volume of registrations through out NSW the system is running very slowly and it will take sometime to process our backlog. Your patience is greatly appreciated. We look forward to a successful 2016

I.D. Sightings for New Players and new to SSFA players

Junior & Senior players NEW to SSFA Clubsneed to provide proof of residency.

​​​​​​ID Sightings – SSFA (Refer Rule 4. B, C & D)

Proof of Birth – Birth Certificate, Passport, Drivers Licence.

Proof of Residency

​o Driver’s Licence – must have current address on the front

​(RTA endorsed change of address on the back of drivers licence will NOT be accepted as proof of residence)

​o Rate Notice

​o Rental Agreement

​o Utility / Electricity / Water Notice

​o NOTE: Telephone and Mobile Phone Accounts will NOT be accepted

Juniors

Parents must show residency documents, as above, or if a child doesn’t live in the Sutherland Shire area but goes to school in the Shire, a letter from the school confirming 2016 attendance or a 2016school ID.

Proof of ID must be sighted and verified by the club registrar.

A player will not be accepted for registration or an ID card produced until the requirements of

(SSFA Rules 4.C a), b), c), d) are completed.

Updated Player ID Photos

2016 updated Photographs are required for all of the following:

 

U10 Boys & Girls

U18 Boys & Girls

U14 Boys & Girls

O35, O45 & W30 players

ALL NEW players U10 and older

 

No glasses to be worn in ID photographs, unless they are sports glasses. 

Refer Rule 4.G regarding approval

  1. Photo of player with sports glasses on. e.g. the FFA profile photo in MFC.
  2. Letter from optometrist detailing the type of glasses purchased (with player name) and their specifications, including specific mention of the make, material and durability.
  3. Manufacture specification of the sports glasses

A player will not be accepted for registration or an ID card produced until the requirements of (SSFA Rules 4.C a), b), c), d) are completed.

WANT TO REFEREE FOOTBALL IN 2016 IN THE SUTHERLAND SHIRE?

Step1 Complete the Online Laws of the Game Certificate. Go to laws.myfootballclub.com.au, do the online course, passthe open‐book multiple choice exam and print off your certificate. If you have any problems, email development@ssfra.org.au

Step2 Register for one of the practical training courses to be held at Harrie Dening Football Centre on the following dates:

Course1 ‐ Sun 13 March 2016 ‐ 8.30am to 1pm

Course2 – Thu 10 + Thu 17 March ‐ 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Course3 ‐ Sat 19 March 2015 ‐ 8.30am to 1pm

Course costs $50. Free for anyone turning 18 or under in 2016. Free for anyone who becomes an active member and purchases a uniform on the day of training. Uniform and equipment costs are approximately $120. Registration fee is $1. GIRLS ONLY FREE SKILLS TRAINING NIGHT

Sutherland Shire Football Association is conducting a free skills training night for girls only to attend.

Date: Wednesday March 9th 2016

Venue: Harrie Dening Football Centre, Bates Drive, Kareela.

Times: There will be 2 Coaching sessions with: • Under 9 to Under 10 at 6pm till 7-15pm • Under 11 to Under 15 at 7-30pm till 8-45pm

Cost: Free

Presenters: The sessions will be presented by Sutherland Shire FA Women’s Premier League players & coaches with the assistance of the SSFA Football Manager- Jon Long. The format of the session will see the girls rotate through 4 skill stations each one focussing on 1 of the 4 core football skills.

To ensure the session quality is maintained at a high level places in each session will be limited to the first 80 applicants. Coaches are welcome to attend and observe. Online registrations will commence as of January 4th, 2016 on the www.myfootballclub.com.au website and click on the Player Tab.

To register online, you will need your FFA number and your password. Your password remains the same as previous. If you cannot remember your password, you can change it on www.myfootballclub.com.au and follow the prompts.

Beat the queues and save time by registering online.

There are two options for registering online:

*Register and pay online (Visa and MasterCard only accepted).

*Register online , request and invoice and pay via EFT using the club bank account details supplied on the invoice.

Prices are as follows

U06-U09 :  $120.        U10-U11:  $130     U12-U13  :  $150

U14-U16 : $160.        U18 : $195.               U21 and up: $285

Student : $230.        Uniform set: $65

First time players should attend Registration day and bring a copy of their birth certificate and drivers licence or parent/guardian driver’s licence.

SHFC Committee has again decided to keep the fundraising levy which will be $10 for all players. This is included in your registration fee. The levy is designed to replace raffles and other associated fund raising activities. All funds raised will be used to update goals, nets and purchase new training equipment . Your support is greatly appreciated.

Please note that all registration fees are payable at the time of registration as the club rules state that no player will be registered, allowed to play or covered by insurance until all fees have been paid in full. Thank you for your co-operation.

GRADING DAYS AND TIMES

Saturday 6th and 13th of February

Under 6:  9.30 am – 10.30am.          Under 7 : 11am – 12 noon

Under 8: 1pm-2pm.         Under 9: 2.30pm -3.30pm

Sunday 7th and 14th February

Under 10:  8.30am – 9.30am.          Under 11:   10am-11am

Under 12: 11.30am – 12.30pm.       Under 13: 1pm-2pm

Under 14:   TBA – refer to website

 

To assist the club in the registration and grading process, it is essential that players must be registered and financial prior to grading. Teams have to be graded and submitted to SSFA no later than 22nd February, as after this date we are unable to apply for any more teams.
