Become a Titans Buddy

Become a Titans Buddy.
The Sutherland Titans Football Club, caters for players with special needs and they need our help. The Titans love playing the game especially scoring goals but in doing so, need some additional assistance and guidance. This year the clubs juniors will expand from 6 to 8 teams and as a result the club needs more helpers to assist the players on the field.

The role of a Titans Helper is to assist the players generally throughout the game. Helpers are on the field assisting the players to kick and control the ball and encourage them to participate fully in the game. Only a basic knowledge of Football is required.

The junior teams play on Saturday at the Harrie Denning Fields at Kareela. Games start at either 12.30 pm or 1.15 pm and run for 30 minutes. (game times do not change). Each team is controlled by a Team Leader and each week two helpers are required for approximately 1 Hour. The helpers are rostered to a specific team thus they get to know the players well. Each helper is rostered every 3rd week thus the commitment for each person is one hour on 6 Saturdays in the season. (Finals are not played).
If you wish to help, please contact Gordon Watson from the Titans gwat4657@bigpond.net.au
