Coaching Positions with SSFA

Sutherland Shire Football Association (SSFA) is seeking expressions of interest from coaches who would like to join the SSFA Coaching Team in coaching one of the following squads in the 2017 season:

Womens Premier League:

· First Grade

· Reserve Grade

· U/17

· U/15

· U/13

Boys Regional Youth Conference:

· U/13

· U/14

· U/15

· U/16

Girls Skill Acquisition Program

· U/10

· U/12

Appropriate Coaching accreditation is required with commitment to the FFA National Curriculum and the philosophy and aims of the SSFA.

A call for entries for the Marc Arcuri Cup 2016

The Marc Arcuri Cup is a 6 a side charity Football event held in October each year that raises money to purchase and donate defibrillators into Grass roots Football Clubs.
Earlier this year, SHFC became the first club in the Shire to receive a defibrillator as a result of last year’s event. To Show our gratitude, we would like to see a few teams from the Trees enter the event this year. registration Details are below or like the Facebook Page Marc Arcuri Cup Let’s make a good showing from the Trees.

Registration for the 2016 Marc Arcuri Cup is officially open! You can register your team to play in the following categories

Saturday October 15:
-All Age Ladies ($200 minimum donation per team)
-Junior Boys 12-15 ($200 minimum donation per team)

Sunday October 16:
-All Age Men ($400 minimum donation per team)
-Masters Men Over 35 ($200 minimum donation per team)

To register your six-a-side team, email and our Registrar Ben Cauchi will forward you all the documentation, insurance and payment information.

We recommend squads of 10-12 players, particularly for the All-Age Men competition. A maximum of two professional players (NPL/A-League) are permitted per team.
