Technology based job opportunity with SSFA

As a direct result of the increased growth in player numbers/ teams and the ongoing push to embrace technology, it has become necessary for the SSFA to seek an individual that can work up to five days per week (for the majority of the season) and has the experience and ability to embrace and lead the push to upgrade and enhance the SSFA’s use of technology. The person will need to:

– Commit to working five days per week during the peak periods from March to September (from 9am to 3:30pm at a minimum),

– Be readily available, on demand, to work extra days during non-peak periods,

– Be technology literate and able to grasp and understand a broad range of platforms by having:

o A working knowledge of the MFC Registration system,

o An understanding of the requirements of creating a working match draw and be sufficiently versed in technology to learn and become confident in using the SSFA draw system (and undertake review and testing of enhancements and possible replacement systems),

o An in-depth understanding and working knowledge of social media and its uses (including but not limited to website management, Facebook, twitter, Instagram, mobile phone applications, etc.),

o A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
