Registration Information for players returning in 2018

Tree Stadium is getting ready for 2018 Football Season.

All returning players must self-register online @ www.myfootballclub.com.au

Senior players and Junior players who are not claiming the Active Kids rebate self-register commencing from 5th January.
Junior players who are claiming the NSW Active Kids Rebate must self-register from 1st February to 9th February.

Note: please apply for the active kids voucher code before registering with my football club.

Photographs for 2018 are required only for the following

  • All Under 10 boys & girls, All Under 14 boys & girls
  • All Under 18 boys & girls,
  • All new players with SHFC who are Under 10 and older
  • All returning players in other age groups, 21 & up whose photo is more than 3 years old
Guidelines for photos are 122 pixels x 156 pixels; please ensure the photo is a passport style image of head only.  No hats or glasses to be worn.  Please refer to www.myfootballclub.com.au for further instructions.  Any ID photo that is submitted incorrectly and printed by SSFA will incur a reprint fee of $10 per card. Please submit your selfie correctly.

There are two payment options for registering on line:
  • Register and pay on line (Visa or  MasterCard only accepted)
  • Register on line, request an invoice & pay via EFT using the club bank account details supplied on the invoice

To assist the club in registration and grading process, it’s essential that players must be registered and financial prior to grading commencing.  Please note SSFA rules state players that are registered and not financial are not allowed to play or covered under insurance until all fees have been paid in full. Registrations after 5PM 6th March will be subjected to availability and a late fee.  Thank you for your co-operation

Here’s how to register to play with Sylvania Heights FC for the 2018 season

Returning Senior players may register through the My Football Club Website from January 5th, 2018. The link will be on our website.

Returning Junior players (Kindergarten – Yr12) will be eligible to claim the                                  NSW Government Active Kids Rebate , from January 31, before registering through the My Football Club Website. The steps for claiming the rebate and then registering through the site, will appear on our website as they are released.

For New Players only there will be a Face to Face registration day on

Saturday the 3rd of February from 10 – 2 pm at  Tree Stadium                                                       in the Sylvania Heights Community and Youth Club Hall, Box Road, Sylvania Heights. 

First time players and players who have not played in the Sutherland Shire before will need to bring Proof of age (Birth Certificate) and proof of Address (Driver’s Licence or Rate Notice) documents for sighting as part of registration. You will then be given a registration information sheet , for self registering at home via the My Football club site.

Cooper Appleyard

SHFC is happy to report that Cooper Appleyard, the younger brother of Lilly Appleyard from W12A and Bailey Appleyard from U15A is recovering well in Sydney Children's Hospital after suffering a Cardiac arrest on Monday afternoon during a class at Dance4Fun @ SHYC .  Cooper was slowly woken up yesterday and is now breathing without a ventilator, responsive and able to speak.   His parents John and Kylie would like to thank everyone who helped save Cooper's life and members of the community for their prayers and support.

Register for the Sydney FC/SSFA Holiday Clinic for a DOUBLE PASS

Sydney FC and Sutherland Shire FA will be running another school holiday clinic next week PLUS all participants who register will receive a double pass to Sydney FC’s first home game of the new A-League season on Sunday 15 October 2017.

The Sydney FC and SSFA holiday clinic is a great opportunity for girls and boys of all abilities to continue having fun and developing their skills and love of football in a friendly environment during the school holidays. The clinics are led by ex-Socceroo and Sydney FC player Paul Reid with assistance from their enthusiastic and experienced coaching staff.

Details of the combined Sydney FC and SSFA clinic next week are below:

Location: Harrie Dening Football Centre, Bates Drive, Kareela
Date: Wednesday 4 October to Friday 6 October 2017
Time: 9am-3pm
Age Group: 5-15 year old boys and girls
Price: $295 (sibling discounts available)
Inclusions: Sydney FC training shirt, shorts, socks and hat
Goalkeeping sessions: Goalkeepers in the 9-15yo age groups can select to participate in specialised goalkeeping training on all three days of the clinic

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.

 

The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE FOOTBALL CLUB of the Sylvania Heights Community & Youth Club Inc. will be held at the Youth Club, Box Road, Sylvania Heights at 7.30 pm on Monday 4 September 2017.

All positions will be declared vacant and the election of the Executive and Committee for the next twelve months will take place. Nominations should be made on the attached form.

Annual General Meeting Nomination Form 2017

If more than one nomination is received for a particular position made on the Nomination Form and received prior to the AGM, then a ballot will be held at the AGM.

Should there be only one nomination for a particular position, then that person will be automatically elected to that position.

In the event no nominations are received via the Nomination Form prior to the AGM, nominations maybe made from the floor of the meeting.

  • Presentation of Chairman’s Report.
  • Presentation of Financial Reports for FY 2016.
  • Election of Executive Positions.
